Experienced Factory Assembler – Automotive Components

Location: Birmingham
Pay: £471.00 gross per week
Hours: 37 hours per week
Working Days: Monday to Thursday, 6:30am – 4:15pm
Job Type: Temporary – Indefinite

We are looking for an experienced Factory Assembler to join an established automotive manufacturing company in Birmingham.

This is a hands-on production role requiring previous experience in factory assembly, power press operation and working with metal components.

Main Duties

• Assemble automotive components using hand tools and production equipment.
• Operate power presses and other factory machinery.
• Carry out presswork and component fitting.
• Pressure test finished parts and check for leaks.
• Inspect components for defects and quality issues.
• Pack completed products ready for dispatch.
• Maintain production standards and follow health and safety procedures.

What We Are Looking For

• Previous factory or manufacturing experience is essential.
• Proven experience in component assembly is essential.
• Previous power press or metal presswork experience is highly desirable.
• Confident using hand tools and production machinery.
• Good manual skills, accuracy and attention to detail.
• Reliable, punctual and able to work to production targets.

Important: Due to the 6:30am start, applicants must live locally or have their own reliable transport.
