Learning Support Assistant - Solihull 3 Days per Week | Secondary | Part-Time
Are you a supportive and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant looking for a part-time opportunity in Solihull?We are working with a secondary academy in the Solihull area that is looking to appoint a Learning Support Assistant to work 3 days per week, supporting students to engage positively with their learning and make progress in the classroom.
The Role
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will:
- Provide support to students within the classroom
- Work alongside teachers to help pupils access lessons and learning activities
- Provide individual and small-group support where required
- Help students remain engaged, focused and confident in their learning
- Support positive behaviour and encourage independence
- Build positive and professional relationships with students and staff
- Help create an inclusive and supportive learning environment
About YouWe would be interested in hearing from applicants who:
- Have previous experience supporting young people in a school or educational setting
- Are patient, approachable and able to build positive relationships with students
- Have strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Can confidently work alongside teaching and pastoral staff
- Are reliable and committed to working 3 days per week
- Have a genuine interest in supporting young people's education and development
