Project Design & Delivery | Birmingham City Centre

£70,000 + Bonus

A leading international Property & Construction Consultancy is seeking an Associate Building Surveyor to join its Birmingham Building Surveying team.

This is a genuinely project-led role. The team is looking for a Building Surveyor who enjoys the design and delivery side of the profession most, and would rather be taking a scheme from brief through to completion than writing up another schedule of condition.

The focus is on project design, Contract Administration and Project Management, supported by the scale, resources and client base of a major international consultancy.

The Role

Working from the firm's city-centre office in Birmingham, you will be responsible for:

• Project design and delivery, from inception through to completion

• Preparing specifications, tender documentation and design packages

• Contract Administration

• Project Management of refurbishment and building projects

• Managing client relationships and project teams

• Professional Building Surveying instructions alongside the project work

• Supporting the continued growth of the Birmingham Building Surveying team

The Successful Associate Building Surveyor

• Strong project design and delivery experience

• A track record of running projects through design, tender and on site

• Good Contract Administration experience

• Strong client-facing and project management skills

• Comfortable taking responsibility for projects and instructions at Associate level

• MRICS (Building Surveying pathway) desirable, but not essential

• £70,000 basic salary plus bonus
