An exciting opportunity has arisen for a junior Employment lawyer in Birmingham to join a highly ranked and rapidly growing national team.

About The Team

Our client is an international law firm with excellent rankings across practice areas in the legal directories in London and beyond. With multiple UK offices, they house some of the strongest and most capable lawyers in the country who are individually recognised for their strengths.

The team covers the full remit of Employment law matters for respondent clients across sectors including finance, energy, transport, and retail. They also have an international reach, and regularly advise on cross-border corporate transactions.

About The Opportunity

Our client has seen a rapid increase in matters coming through the door, and this is showing no signs of slowing down, hence the need for further hands on deck. These matters include;

• High Court litigation and complex ET matters
• Restructuring, reorganisations, and redundancies
• Managing and advising on senior exits and executive reward
• Team moves, restrictive covenants and global mobility
• Supporting on employment elements of corporate transactions
• Workplace investigations, equality and pay reporting
• How AI is affecting the workplace

This firm has an excellent training structures, and juniors will be well looked after by their managers, supervisors, and fellow colleagues.

About You

You will;

• Be a qualified solicitor in England and Wales
• Have experience in handling complex Employment disputes and advising on strategic Employment matters
• Have a strong academic background
• Have a keenness to get involved and an eye for detail
• Have excellent communication and written skills
