The Opportunity

As Electrical Estimator, you'll be responsible for producing accurate, competitive tenders and quotations across a wide range of electrical and technology projects.

You'll work closely with operational and commercial teams, helping secure new contracts while ensuring projects are handed over seamlessly following a successful bid.

Projects You'll Be Involved With

You'll have the chance to work across an exciting and varied portfolio including:

• Commercial Buildings
• Industrial Facilities
• Modular Construction Projects
• Smart Home Installations
• Smart Building & BMS Technologies

No two projects are the same, giving you excellent exposure to a wide range of technologies and sectors.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparing competitive tenders for commercial electrical and M&E projects
• Producing quotations for planned maintenance and reactive works
• Pricing project variations and additional works
• Reviewing drawings, specifications and tender packages
• Obtaining and analysing supplier and subcontractor quotations
• Producing detailed cost breakdowns and tender submissions
• Supporting successful project handovers to delivery teams
• Helping improve estimating processes and efficiency across the business

A Chance to Shape the Estimating Function

The business operates using Simpro with Luckins integration and is looking for someone who can help drive improvements across the platform.

You'll play a key role in:

• Developing and maintaining Simpro pre-builds
• Creating quotation templates
• Standardising pricing structures
• Improving estimating consistency
• Streamlining tender processes
• Driving efficiency across the estimating department

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys improving systems as much as winning work.

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience as an Electrical Estimator or M&E Estimator
• Strong understanding of commercial electrical installations
• Experience pricing tenders, variations and small works projects
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail
• Excellent organisational skills
• Experience using estimating software (Simpro highly desirable)
• Proactive mindset with a passion for continuous improvement
