We're seeking an experienced Finance Business Partner to support a major infrastructure programme, providing financial insight, challenge and assurance across complex project and delivery teams.

This is a highly visible role working closely with finance, commercial, controls and project stakeholders to support effective decision-making, cost control, forecasting and programme

performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide finance business partnering support across major projects and programmes
• Deliver budgeting, forecasting and multi-year financial planning activities
• Produce financial reporting, management information and performance analysis
• Support business cases, investment decisions and spending proposals
• Monitor project costs, risks, opportunities and financial performance
• Ensure robust financial controls and governance are maintained
• Support change control activities and assess financial impacts
• Challenge forecasts and provide insight to support informed decision-making
• Build strong relationships with project, commercial and delivery teams

Essential Experience

• Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
• Finance Business Partnering experience within a complex environment
• Strong management accounting, budgeting and forecasting experience
• Experience supporting project, programme or commercial teams
• Financial reporting and management information expertise
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills
• Experience working with financial controls and governance frameworks
• Advanced Excel and financial analysis skills

Desirable Experience

• Infrastructure, construction, engineering or transport sector experience
• Project-based or programme delivery environments
• Experience partnering with Commercial, Controls or Project Management teams
• Multi-year financial planning experience
