Our client, a leader in their market, is looking for a Head of Finance to lead the finance function, safeguard the integrity of the Group's financial reporting, provide strategic insight to the senior leadership team, grow their career, and thrive in a diverse and supportive environment that values unique contributions and rewards exceptional performance.

Key responsibilities of the Head of Finance:

• Lead and develop the finance function, including financial accounting, financial control, FP&A and tax.
• Own the Group's statutory reporting, month-end and year-end close processes, and ensure all financial information is delivered accurately and on time.
• Partner with the CFO and senior leadership team to provide commercial insight and support strategic decision-making.
• Lead the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting cycles, challenging assumptions and presenting performance to the Board.
• Oversee the Group's VAT, corporation tax and wider statutory compliance obligations.
• Act as a role model for the finance team, providing coaching, mentoring and career development support to Finance Managers and Senior Accountants.

Key essentials of the Head of Finance:

• ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified
• Proven experience leading a finance team in a senior finance role
• Strong communication, stakeholder management and relationship building skills
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP and reporting systems
