Balfour Beatty VINCI is HS2’s construction partner in the Midlands, responsible for delivering 90km of the route, from Long Itchington in Warwickshire to the centre of Birmingham and on to Handsacre in Staffordshire. Current Opportunity: Fit Out Site Manager

Location: Based in Coventry - the South Region comprises Sublots 2B, 2A and 1A Long Itchington Wood. It stretches for approximately 39.2km from Finham Brook to Southam through a mixture of rural and suburban landscapes.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the safe delivery of architectural fit-out and finishes works, ensuring compliance with approved RAMS, permits, specifications, drawings and project quality standards.
• Coordinate fit-out activities with Civil, MEP, design and supply-chain teams, proactively resolving design, constructability and package interface issues.
• Manage fit-out subcontractor performance, productivity and compliance, including labour resources, competence, attendance and planned outputs.
• Monitor the construction programme, identifying sequencing and delivery risks, implementing mitigation measures and escalating issues where required.
• Oversee inspections, testing, snagging, defect close-out and the completion of all required handover documentation.
