Platform Engineer (Azure & Fabric) - #2183531

We're looking for an experienced Platform Engineer to play a key role in developing, managing and optimising enterprise cloud and data platforms across Microsoft Azure and Microsoft Fabric.

This is a hands-on engineering role focused on platform governance, environment management, automation and continuous improvement. You'll work closely with Architecture, CloudOps, DevOps, Security and Data teams to improve platform stability, security, efficiency and cost effectiveness.

You'll take ownership of platform lifecycle management, establish standardised environments, implement governance controls and drive greater automation through Infrastructure as Code. You'll also help shape the operational foundations of Microsoft Fabric, including workspace governance, capacity management, access controls and monitoring.

Key experience required:

• Proven experience in Platform Engineering, Cloud Engineering or Cloud Administration within Microsoft Azure environments.
• Good understanding of Microsoft Fabric, including platform administration, governance and operational support.
• Experience managing enterprise cloud environments, including security, access controls, monitoring and cost optimisation.
• Understanding of platform lifecycle management, environment management and governance.
• Experience with automation, Infrastructure as Code and deployment tooling.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across technical and business teams.
