Credit Controller – Birmingham City Centre – £30,000–£33,000
Location: Birmingham City Centre (hybrid)
Salary: £30,000 – £33,000 per annum
Flora Partners are recruiting for an experienced Credit Controller to join a business based in Birmingham City Centre. This role is available due to business growth and will allow the successful candidate to join a fantastic, people focussed business.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys building strong customer relationships, is confident using technology and is keen to develop their analytical skills, with the opportunity to gain exposure to Power BI.
The successful candidate will have proven credit control experience, strong Excel skills and a proactive approach to managing customer accounts and outstanding debt.
The Role

• Proactively chasing outstanding payments via telephone and email.
• Building and maintaining positive relationships with customers to encourage timely payment.
• Monitoring aged debt and identifying overdue balances.
• Investigating and resolving invoice queries and payment discrepancies.
• Producing and analysing credit control reports using Excel.
• Working closely with internal teams to resolve queries and improve collection processes.

Ideally, You Will

• Have proven experience working within a Credit Control position.
• Be confident using Excel, including PivotTables and VLOOKUPs.
• Have excellent communication and customer relationship management skills.
• Be comfortable using technology and learning new systems.
• Have the confidence to meet with customers if required.
• Be proactive, commercially aware and confident managing your own workload.
