Residential Property Management Team Leader

Birmingham | Hybrid | £45,000 + Car Allowance

Full Time | 12-Month Fixed-Term Contract

Are you an experienced residential property manager who enjoys getting the best out of a team?

Hugo Reeves Recruitment is seeking a Team Leader to oversee a residential property management service for an established property business in Birmingham.

You’ll be the person your team turns to for guidance, helping them organise workloads, resolve complex issues and keep properties running smoothly. Alongside managing people, you’ll maintain regular contact with clients and take responsibility for the quality of work delivered across the portfolio.

What you’ll be doing

• Providing practical support and direction to property managers, including regular feedback and development.
• Planning team workloads and keeping track of deadlines, agreed targets and outstanding actions.
• Acting as a point of escalation for property and client queries.
• Overseeing empty homes, arranging necessary works and progressing them towards reoccupation.
• Bringing additional properties into management and ensuring the right information and processes are in place.
• Keeping inspections, maintenance and property records on track.
• Liaising with contractors and internal specialists to address repairs and compliance matters.
• Reviewing how the team works and introducing improvements where needed.

What we’re looking for

You’ll bring a solid background in residential property management or lettings, together with experience supervising or managing people. You should be comfortable taking ownership of problems, having constructive conversations with clients and helping colleagues work through competing demands.

Good organisation, confidence with property management software and Microsoft Office, and a full UK driving licence are also required.

The package:

The role offers a salary of £45,000 plus car allowance, hybrid working, 25 days’ annual leave and a flexible benefits package.

This is a 12-month fixed-term appointment, offering the opportunity to apply your leadership experience within an established property team.
