Senior Mechanical Engineer | Birmingham City Centre | Hybrid

I’m recruiting for a sustainability-focused building services consultancy that is expanding its Birmingham team and needs a Senior Mechanical Engineer to take a lead role on its project portfolio.

The role

You’ll lead mechanical design from concept through to completion across a varied mix of sectors: Healthcare, Education, Residential, Commercial, Industrial, Pharmaceutical, Public Sector and Net Zero. You’ll also mentor junior engineers and act as a main point of contact for clients.

What you’ll bring

• Substantial mechanical building services design experience within a UK consultancy
• A track record of leading projects across all design stages
• Confident client-facing and project management skills
• Proficiency in industry-standard design software (e.g. IES, Revit, Hevacomp or similar) and sound working knowledge of UK Building Regulations
• Chartered status (CIBSE/IMechE) or active progress towards CEng is desirable
