Our client is a well-established and highly regarded wealth management firm with a national presence, serving private clients, charities, trustees and professional partners. They offer a highly personalised service combining discretionary investment management and holistic financial advice, with a strong reputation for long-term client relationships and service quality.

They are looking to recruit an experienced Financial Planner into their Birmingham office to service an existing portfolio of high-net-worth clients and build on the strong, long-term relationships that sit at the heart of the firm's ethos.

THE ROLE

This is a client-facing financial planning role focused on delivering excellent advice and outstanding ongoing service to an established private client base. You will manage and grow that client bank, deepen existing relationships, and develop new business through referrals and professional connections. You will work closely with Investment Managers and colleagues across the wider wealth management division, and will be supported by marketing and specialist distribution partners.

• Maintain and grow an existing client base, delivering clear and compliant financial advice aligned to agreed service levels
• Deepen client relationships and increase share of clients' total investable wealth
• Build and maintain a high-quality new business pipeline through referrals and professional connections
• Own your growth plan and targets, with coaching and support from the Area Director
• Work in close partnership with Investment Managers and wider colleagues across the firm
• Meet all FCA requirements and the firm's internal standards, generating great client outcomes and documentation

ABOUT YOU

• An experienced Financial Planner with a strong focus on service excellence
• Passionate about delivering great client outcomes and building long-term relationships
• Commercially minded, with the ability to grow business through trust and referrals
• Strong technical knowledge and confidence operating in a regulated environment
• Level 4 qualified as a minimum, with advanced qualifications desirable
