• Partner with business leaders to provide clear financial insight that supports day-to-day and longer-term decisions.
• Provide robust commercial insight and influence decision-making across the business.
• Drive accountability throughout the organisation and ensure decisions are focused on value creation.
• Work collaboratively with commercial teams on contract performance, contract costing and profitability improvement initiatives.
• Lead financial planning conversations, ensuring key assumptions and priorities are understood across the business.
• Challenge financial assumptions constructively to improve the quality of commercial decisions.
• Present financial findings to senior stakeholders in a concise and accessible format.
• Identify areas where financial processes and reporting can be improved to support better decision-making.

Profile

• Qualified Accountant- ACA/ACCA/CIMA
• Strong finance business partnering capability, with the confidence to work closely with senior stakeholders.
• Ability to deliver change, improving performance and creating tangible commercial value.
• The ability to explain financial information clearly to non-finance colleagues.
• Sound commercial judgement and the ability to challenge assumptions constructively.
• Strong analytical skills, with a practical approach to resolving financial issues.
• The ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining accuracy and focus.

Job Offer

• Permanent Senior Finance Business Partner position based in Birmingham.
• Salary of £100,000 to £120,000 dependent on the level of experience.
