Assistant Project Manager role - Civil Engineering & Water
SSA are currently recruiting for an expanding multi-disciplined Civil Engineering contractor who are looking for an Assistant Project Manager to join their team working within their Water division, covering schemes for Severn Trent Water and Thames Water, including clean & wastewater treatment upgrades, pumping stations, pipelines, tunnelling, shafts, and mains replacements.
They are looking for someone with between 1-4 years of experience within civil engineering who understands engineering principles and who is looking to build a career within project management.
You would be responsible for:
- Assisting with planning, scheduling and coordinating all construction activities
- Assisting with supervision and management of the site whilst ensuring works are carried out safely and in compliance with company and industry health and safety regulations.
- Assisting with procurement of materials and labour
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation related to construction activities.
- Stakeholder & subcontractor management

Essential:
- Driving license
- Degree/HNC/HND in Construction Management or relevant area
