An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Childcare Solicitor to join a well-established law firm based in Birmingham.

The firm is looking to recruit a Children’s Panel accredited Solicitor with a strong background in publicly funded childcare work. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced practitioner looking to join a busy team and handle a varied caseload of complex and rewarding children matters.

The successful candidate will have experience representing parents and/or children in public law proceedings, together with the ability to manage cases independently and provide sensitive, practical advice to clients facing challenging circumstances.

THE ROLE:

You will handle a varied caseload of childcare matters, including care proceedings, emergency protection orders, supervision orders and other public law children matters. You will represent clients throughout proceedings, prepare cases for court hearings and work closely with counsel, social workers and other professionals to achieve the best possible outcomes.

THE CANDIDATE:

Applications are invited from Solicitors with a minimum of 5 years’ PQE who are based in Birmingham and are accredited members of the Law Society’s Children Panel.

You will have strong experience in publicly funded childcare work, excellent advocacy and case management skills, and the ability to manage a demanding caseload while maintaining a high standard of client care.

THE OPPORTUNITY:

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Children’s Panel Solicitor to join an established Birmingham practice and continue to develop their expertise within a supportive and busy team.
