Programme Manager - Global ERP Rollout (Infor)
Location: West Midlands / Hybrid with travel to international sites
Salary: £90,000-£120,000 depending on experience + benefits
Type: Permanent

The opportunity

A global engineering and manufacturing group is building a dedicated Business Systems Rollout Team to deploy a standard ERP template across its international sites. The aim is to stop site-led, one-off implementations and replace them with one repeatable delivery model. Sites will adopt a global template instead of designing from scratch, and any changes will go through formal governance.

This is a new team, and the Programme Manager role leads it. You'll own end-to-end delivery of the rollout across every site. You'll sit alongside a Solution Architect and two Functional Leads, one for Finance and one for Supply Chain & Operations, and you'll be the main link to the executive team.

What you'll be doing

• Defining and managing the multi-site rollout roadmap and sequencing
• Owning programme governance across scope, budget, risks and dependencies, including running the SteerCo and stage gates
• Owning the standard deployment methodology (Validate → Fit-gap → Configure → Test → Deploy), including workshop format, UAT approach and training structure
• Sequencing overlapping site go-lives against the capacity of the Functional Leads
• Making sure sites are ready and that cutover planning is disciplined
• Aligning internal teams, the implementation partner and system integrators, while keeping design ownership in-house
• Enforcing adoption of the standard template and a change-by-exception approach
• Being the final escalation point for delivery trade-offs and for prioritising sites that run at the same time

What you'll bring

• A track record of leading multi-site or global ERP rollouts, ideally in manufacturing or engineering. Infor experience is a strong plus, and SAP, Oracle, D365 or similar is also relevant.
• Experience delivering through a global template or core model, and holding the line on standardisation with site stakeholders
• Strong programme governance skills, including budget control, RAID management and executive reporting
• Experience managing implementation partners while keeping ownership of what gets built and how
• The credibility to work with senior executives and the hands-on grip to run several site deployments at once
• Willingness to travel to international sites
