Senior Marketing Communications Manager

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Marketing Communications Manager to join a growing professional services organisation.

This is a senior, commercially focused role partnering with leadership teams to translate business priorities into effective marketing and communications activity. You’ll combine strategic advice with hands-on delivery, leading integrated campaigns and ensuring marketing activity supports growth, reputation and wider business objectives.

The role

  • Partner with senior stakeholders to understand commercial priorities and identify where marketing can add greatest value.
  • Develop and deliver integrated marketing and communications plans across key business areas.
  • Lead high-profile campaigns and projects from initial brief through to delivery and evaluation.
  • Provide strategic advice across messaging, audiences, channels, content and positioning.
  • Coordinate activity across internal specialists, external agencies and other stakeholders.
  • Use insight, KPIs and performance data to demonstrate impact and improve future activity.
  • Manage project budgets, timelines and external suppliers.
  • Support and coach junior colleagues, helping raise capability across the team.
  • Act as a senior member of the function and provide additional leadership support when required.
  • Take ownership of selected areas such as digital, brand, web or SEO.

About you

You’ll be an established marketing or communications professional with experience operating as a trusted adviser to senior stakeholders. You’ll bring:

  • Strong integrated marketing and communications experience.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.
  • Commercial awareness and the ability to connect marketing activity with business objectives.
  • Experience leading complex, multi-channel campaigns.
  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills.
  • Strong project management and organisational capability.
  • Experience managing budgets, agencies or external suppliers.
  • Good knowledge across digital, content, brand, PR, events and measurement.
  • Confidence coaching or supporting other members of a marketing team.

The opportunity

This would suit someone looking for a senior Manager role with genuine strategic influence, while remaining close enough to delivery to see ideas through from concept to measurable outcome.
