Property Inspector – Birmingham

Self-Employed | Full Training Provided | £110 Day Rate

We’re looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Property Inspector to join our growing team in Birmingham. No previous experience is required, as we provide full training to help you get started.

At Letcheck Inventories, we are a professional, independent residential property reporting company with an excellent reputation for delivering a first-class service. We pride ourselves on building trusted, long-standing partnerships with our clients.

With over 20 years of industry experience, we work with some of the UK’s most respected corporate landlords and letting agents, providing a high-quality and reliable service.

About the Role

This opportunity is ideal for someone based in Birmingham who is looking for flexible, self-employed work, with the freedom to choose their own working days and hours.

As a Property Inspector, you will visit residential properties to carry out detailed inspections at the start and end of tenancies, as well as mid-term inspections.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting detailed property inspections and reporting on the condition and cleanliness of properties.
  • Dictating comprehensive reports using our dedicated app.
  • Taking photographs to document the condition of each property.
  • Meeting landlords, letting agents and tenants to collect and hand over keys.
  • Delivering a professional, friendly and reliable service at every appointment.
  • What We’re Looking For

This role would suit someone who is naturally organised, conscientious and takes pride in their work. You should have:

  • A keen eye for detail.
  • A responsible and professional approach.
  • Good common sense and the ability to work independently.
  • A positive, can-do attitude.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • A friendly and customer-focused manner.
  • The confidence to handle unexpected situations calmly and professionally.

What We Offer

  • £110 day rate.
  • Flexible working: Choose the days and hours that suit you.
  • Full training provided: A combination of online learning and practical, hands-on training alongside an experienced Property Inspector.
  • No previous experience required: We’ll provide the knowledge and support you need to get started.
  • The opportunity to join an established company with over 20 years of experience in the property reporting industry.

If you’re based in Birmingham, have a keen eye for detail and are looking for flexible self-employed work, we’d love to hear from you.
