Quantity Surveyor - Rolling Stock and Depots - #2178783

Your new company
You will be joining a leading consultancy working across a major UK rail infrastructure programme. Due to ongoing commercial requirements, they are looking to appoint a Quantity Surveyor to support a Rolling Stock & Depots package from either Birmingham or London.

Your new role
You will take responsibility for day-to-day commercial and contractual activities across the package, including:

• NEC3/NEC4 contract administration
• Applications for payment
• Compensation event management
• Change control
• Commercial correspondence
• Cost forecasting and reporting
• Cost validation and verification
• Risk and opportunity management
• Commercial assurance
• Procurement and tender support where required
• Claims management and dispute avoidance
• Final account management
• Contract close-out

What you'll need to succeed
You will need demonstrable Quantity Surveying/commercial management experience and strong knowledge of NEC contracts.
Previous experience within Rolling Stock, rail depots or a related rail environment would be highly desirable but is not essential. Strong NEC Quantity Surveyors from relevant major infrastructure environments can also be considered.

What you'll get in return
You will receive a 12-month+ contract with the potential to be extended or renewed depending on ongoing requirements. The role is inside IR35, offers a hybrid working arrangement and can be based from either Birmingham or London.
