About the Opportunity

The Mind Collective is looking for talented, aspiring creatives across the West Midlands who want to gain practical industry experience and build their professional portfolios.

We're looking for individuals who already have demonstrable creative skills and want the opportunity to apply them to real projects for established consumer brands. We're particularly interested in:

• Graphic Designers – digital design, social media assets and brand communications.
• Video Editors – short-form video, Reels, TikTok and digital content.
• Food & Recipe Content Creators – food styling, recipe development, photography and video.
• Lifestyle Content Creators – photography, videography and engaging social-first content.

We're offering 12-week placements and flexible part-time opportunities that can be undertaken alongside an undergraduate degree.

Who We're Looking For

We're looking for creative individuals who:

• Are currently studying for an undergraduate degree in a relevant discipline.
• Already have strong creative skills in at least one of the areas listed above.
• Can demonstrate their capabilities through an existing portfolio.
• Are confident interpreting briefs and producing high-quality creative work.
• Are proactive, reliable and able to work independently.
• Are based in Birmingham or the wider West Midlands.

An existing portfolio demonstrating your creative ability is essential. Applications without a portfolio will not be considered.
