Vitalis are recruiting for experienced Social Worker to work in a Child Protection Team in Birmingham Council.
This is an opportunity for an experienced and confident Senior Social Worker to join the NWC Section 47 Child Protection Enquiry Service. The service undertakes complex Section 47 Child Protection Enquiries, assesses risk and harm, develops safety plans and works collaboratively with children, families and partner agencies where children may be experiencing or at risk of significant harm.
The team is based at One Avenue, Aston, Birmingham. During duty week, Social Workers are expected to work from the office, enabling timely multi-agency information sharing, Strategy Meetings, professional consultation and safeguarding responses. Outside of duty week, the role will also involve remote working, alongside required visits and meetings.

There is plenty of hybrid working available.
