WE'RE RECRUITING – COMPLIANCE OFFICER

Location: Lye, West Midlands

Salary: £30,000–£35,000 per annum (depending on experience)

Full-time | Monday–Friday + On-Call Rota

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Prospect Coaches (West) Ltd as a Compliance Officer based at our Lye depot.

We're looking for a motivated, organised and proactive individual with a strong understanding of PSV operations and transport compliance.

Key responsibilities include:

Monitoring drivers' hours, tachographs and working time compliance

Managing infringements, driver debriefs and compliance records

Conducting internal compliance checks and following up outstanding actions

Monitoring vehicle maintenance schedules, safety inspections, MOTs and defect rectification

Working closely with our Transport Manager, Compliance Manager and operational teams

Providing operational support when required

What we're looking for:

Previous experience in PSV compliance or transport operations

Good knowledge of drivers' hours legislation and DVSA requirements

Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

A valid PCV (Category D) licence

A proactive, hands-on approach to maintaining compliance standards

Experience with transport management systems and a Transport Manager CPC qualification would be advantageous.
