Sales Enablement Lead
Salary: £40,000-£42,000 + up to 20% bonus
Location: Manchester, Birmingham or London - Hybrid working
Are you someone who enjoys making sales teams more effective? Do you have experience with CRM systems (ideally Hubspot) and an interest in how technology and AI can improve the way businesses work?
We're working with an established UK financial services business looking for a Sales Enablement Lead to join its Business Development Team.
Reporting to the Head of Business Development, you'll help the team identify new opportunities and keep its sales pipeline moving. You'll also have the chance to improve existing processes and find better ways to use technology to support business development.
It's a hands-on role for someone who likes taking ownership and wants to see the impact of their work.
The Role
You'll work closely with the business development team to help them manage prospects and make the most of new business opportunities.
Your responsibilities will include:
Sales pipeline: Research potential investors and help the team identify and progress new business opportunities.
CRM management: Keep records up to date and make sure the team gets the most from its CRM system. HubSpot experience would be useful.
Technology and AI: Look at ways to use AI and automation to save time and improve sales processes.
Sales support: Prepare for meetings and make sure actions are followed up.
Marketing: Work with the Marketing team to ensure sales colleagues have the information and materials they need.
Reporting: Track sales activity and provide useful insights to help the team focus on the right opportunities.
About You
You'll be organised and commercially aware, with a practical approach to getting things done. You'll be comfortable working with different people and confident enough to suggest improvements when you see a better way of doing something.
Your background might be in sales operations, sales enablement or business development support. Experience in CRM management or marketing operations would also be relevant.
We're particularly interested in people who have:
Experience using a CRM system to manage prospects or support sales activity.
Good analytical skills and confidence working with data.
An interest in AI and automation, especially where these can make everyday tasks easier.
Strong communication skills and good attention to detail.
The ability to work independently and manage their own workload.
Experience in financial services would be an advantage, but it isn't essential. We're more interested in finding someone with the right skills and attitude.
Salary & Benefits:
A salary of £40,000-£42,000, depending on experience.
Up to 20% performance-related bonus.
Hybrid working with a choice of UK office locations
Work closely with the Head of Business Development
The opportunity to develop your skills in sales technology and AI.
Location
There is flexibility around office location, with options including Birmingham, Leeds and Manchester and possibly London.
Interested?
If you enjoy improving the way sales teams work and want a role where you can make a real difference, we'd like to hear from you.
