An excellent opportunity for an experienced Private Client Tax professional to lead a specialist team, manage complex advisory work and play a key role in the continued growth of a successful independent accountancy firm.

Your new role

As Associate Director/Director, you'll take a leading role within the team, overseeing personal and trust tax compliance while delivering complex advisory work across Trusts, Inheritance Tax, CGT, offshore trusts, and international tax matters.

You'll manage key client relationships, review tax returns, and work closely with Partners and professional advisers. Alongside your technical responsibilities, you'll lead and develop the team, manage workflow, and support business development, giving you plenty of scope to influence the future direction of the service.

What you'll need to succeed
You'll ideally be CTA, ACA, or ACCA qualified, although strong equivalent experience will also be considered. You'll need significant experience across Private Client Tax, with solid technical knowledge of Personal Tax, IHT and CGT.
Previous team leadership experience, strong client relationship skills, and commercial awareness are important. Exposure to international or offshore trusts and advisory projects would be particularly beneficial.
