You'll be leading a business with a strong presence in Motor Fleet and Motor Trade insurance, alongside a broader commercial portfolio. The opportunity

This is a senior leadership position combining commercial strategy, people management and responsibility for the overall performance of the operation.

• Business leadership: Take ownership of the commercial performance, direction and development of an established insurance broking operation.
• Growth strategy: Identify opportunities to develop existing business, strengthen client relationships and generate sustainable new revenue.
• Broad commercial portfolio: Oversee a business with particular strengths in Motor Fleet and Motor Trade, alongside wider commercial insurance risks.
• Developing markets: Support the continued expansion into S&A and international insurance opportunities.
• People leadership: Lead and develop teams, building a culture of accountability, collaboration and strong client service.
• Commercial relationships: Work closely with senior clients, insurers and wider business stakeholders to strengthen the operation's market position.

You'll ideally bring:

• Significant leadership experience within commercial insurance broking, with responsibility for business performance and growth.

• The ability to develop and execute commercial strategies that balance revenue growth, profitability and client retention.
• Experience leading teams, developing managers and creating an accountable, high-performing culture.
• The credibility to build relationships with senior clients, insurers and stakeholders across a wider organisation.

You'll need to be comfortable combining strategic leadership with a hands-on understanding of the commercial insurance market.

The package

• Basic salary: £100,000-£120,000, depending on experience.
