Business Development Manager – Emergency Care Sector

The Role:

As Business Development Manager, you will enjoy a healthy mix of new business and account management, working with NHS ambulance trusts, defence, maritime rescue, fire & rescue and police services. Around 60% of the role is new business and 40% is developing existing accounts. You will work with clinical leads, procurement teams and end users, respond to tenders and frameworks and run product demonstrations and trials.

Location:

National travel (using your home nase as a hub) ,with around four days a week in the field and some overnight stays. A Midlands-based candidate location would be ideal, but further afield is fine as long as candidates are happy and able to travel extensively.

Requirements:

• Either medical devices or emergency services sales experience
• OR a background as a paramedic, EMT, military medic or in the emergency services
• Knowledge of tenders and frameworks is an advantage
• Tenacious, empathetic and self-motivated
• Full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points

The Package:

• £35,000 – £45,000 basic salary DOE
• 15% uncapped quarterly bonus
• Company car or car allowance
