Electrician (EICR)

Location: Birmingham (Field Based)

Salary: £41,217 per annum

Hours: 39 hours per week

We’re looking for a skilled and motivated Electrician to join our DLO Electrical Team at GreenSquareAccord.

You’ll play a vital role in keeping our homes safe, carrying out electrical inspections, servicing and maintenance to ensure properties meet the required standards. You’ll work independently across occupied and unoccupied homes, delivering high-quality work and excellent customer service.

What You’ll Do

• Carry out Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs) in line with current regulations.
• Complete electrical inspections, testing and remedial works.
• Undertake planned, responsive and voids electrical maintenance.
• Retrofit domestic smoke, carbon monoxide and heat alarm systems (LD1, LD2 and LD3).
• Support ventilation servicing programmes.
• Maintain accurate reports, order materials and manage stock.
• Follow health and safety procedures and relevant legislation.
• Deliver professional and courteous customer service.
• Participate in the out-of-hours emergency rota and attend call-outs when required.

What You’ll Need

• Level 3 NVQ in Electrical Installation/Electrotechnical.
• AM2 qualification.
• City & Guilds 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
• City & Guilds 2391 Testing and Inspection.
• Experience completing EICRs and domestic electrical maintenance.
• Knowledge of electrical repairs, upgrades and refurbishment.
• Ability to install domestic alarm systems and interpret technical specifications.
• Good literacy, numeracy and record-keeping skills.
• A commitment to safety, quality and excellent customer service.
