This role will entail:

  • Acting as a trusted advisor to clients through advocacy, guiding them through the claims process and advocating on their behalf with insurers and loss adjusters etc.
  • Communicating effectively with insurers, loss adjusters, solicitors, and other third parties to progress claims with strong collaborator management.

We're looking for someone with:

  • 5–10 years’ experience in commercial insurance claims handling, ideally within a broker, carrier, or adjusting environment
  • A strong technical knowledge of policy wordings and coverage interpretation
  • Previous experience working with SME clients across various sectors
  • A proven track record of managing complex, high-value, or contentious claims
  • Excellent negotiation and client advocacy skills
  • The ability to mentor and support less experienced team members
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • A professional and insightful communication style, both written and verbal
  • Confidence in meeting with clients, adjusters, Insurers etc., both virtually and face to face
  • A proficiency in claims management systems (Acturis experience preferable) and Microsoft Office suite
  • Cert CII / Dip CII or working towards (preferred)
  • A dedication to ongoing professional development
