Infor LN Application Lead - #2172514

Location: Birmingham (Flexible hybrid working offered if not local)

An established international manufacturing business is looking for an Infor LN Technical Application Lead to support its ongoing global ERP rollout. This is a hands-on technical application role, focused on strengthening internal expertise, supporting live sites and ensuring successful future implementations across a multi-site, international environment.

You will play a key role in troubleshooting complex technical issues, optimising system configuration and overseeing integrations, while working closely with functional teams and external providers to deliver consistent, scalable solutions globally.

• Provide hands-on Infor LN technical application and configuration expertise across multiple modules.

• Investigate complex incidents, system issues and unexpected behaviour, identifying root causes and sustainable solutions.

• Support live operational sites and implementation teams throughout the global rollout.

• Work closely with the ERP Functional Lead to assess requirements, evaluate standard LN capabilities and determine appropriate technical solutions.

• Assess cross-module dependencies, technical risks and the need for bespoke development where necessary.

• Support integrations across Infor ION, REST APIs and EDI, including monitoring, troubleshooting and issue resolution.

• Coordinate external specialists on complex integrations involving MES, PLM, CRM and other business applications.

• Maintain technical standards, documentation, change control and knowledge transfer to promote consistency across global sites.

• Support testing, technical readiness, cutover, go-live and post-implementation hypercare.

• Capture lessons learned and develop repeatable solutions to support future implementations.

• Strong hands-on experience with Infor LN applications and configuration within a manufacturing environment.

• A solid understanding of LN modules, cross-module dependencies and live application support.

• Practical experience with Infor ION, including integration monitoring and troubleshooting.

• Experience with API integrations, particularly REST APIs.

• EDI experience, ideally within automotive or manufacturing environments.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with functional subject matter experts and external technical providers.

• Experience with Infor CloudSuite Automotive, Infor OS and API Gateway.

• Involvement in international or multi-site Infor LN implementations and rollouts.

• Exposure to integrations with MES, PLM, CRM or other enterprise applications.

You will be a technically strong Infor LN specialist who enjoys getting hands-on with applications, resolving complex issues and improving how systems operate across a business. You will combine technical expertise with a practical, solutions-focused approach, balancing business requirements with standardisation, governance and long-term sustainability.

This is an application-focused technical leadership role rather than a software development position. The emphasis is on LN application expertise, configuration, troubleshooting and integration oversight, with specialist development brought in where required.
