Art Teacher | East Birmingham
Secondary Supply & Future Teaching Opportunities | Flexible & Long-Term Work
Are you a qualified Art Teacher with strong classroom management skills looking for teaching opportunities across East Birmingham?
Aspire People is expanding its network of specialist Art Teachers to support secondary schools across Small Heath, Bordesley Green, Sparkhill, Yardley and surrounding areas.
We are particularly interested in teachers who combine creativity and strong subject knowledge with the confidence to establish clear expectations and maintain positive behaviour in the classroom.
Whether you're an experienced Art Teacher looking for a change or an ECT keen to develop your teaching career, we'd be interested in hearing from you.
WHAT OPPORTUNITIES ARE WE RECRUITING FOR?
We are building our candidate pool for future daily supply, short-term cover and long-term Art teaching requirements across East Birmingham.
Depending on school requirements, assignments could involve delivering Art and Design across KS3 and KS4, supporting GCSE Art students and contributing to practical creative projects.
Longer-term positions may include lesson planning, marking, assessment and supporting pupils with coursework and portfolio development.
These are prospective opportunities rather than a confirmed vacancy at a specific school.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
You will need QTS or QTLS, strong Art and Design subject knowledge and experience delivering lessons within a secondary school environment.
Effective behaviour management is particularly important. We are looking for teachers who can establish positive classroom routines, communicate clear expectations and keep pupils engaged in practical learning.
Experience delivering GCSE Art would be advantageous, alongside the ability to support pupils of different abilities and learning needs.
We welcome applications from experienced Art Teachers and Early Career Teachers.
WHY REGISTER WITH ASPIRE PEOPLE?
We work with secondary schools across Birmingham and Solihull and can discuss potential opportunities based on your subject specialism, availability and preferred locations.
Registering your interest allows us to consider you for suitable teaching requirements as they arise.
We can discuss flexible supply work, regular weekly assignments and longer-term positions depending on school demand.
If you're a qualified Art Teacher interested in future opportunities across East Birmingham, apply today or contact Josh at Aspire People to discuss your experience and availability.
Aspire People Limited provides services as an Education Agency and an Education Employment Business. Aspire People is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of pupils and expects every candidate to share this commitment. Placements are subject, to appropriate Child Protection screening, including checks with former employers and the Disclosure and Barring Checks.
