Female PE Teacher | East Birmingham
Secondary PE Supply & Future Teaching Opportunities | Flexible & Long-Term Work
Are you a qualified female PE Teacher looking for teaching opportunities across East Birmingham?
Aspire People is expanding its network of specialist Physical Education Teachers to support secondary schools across Small Heath, Bordesley Green, Sparkhill, Yardley and surrounding areas.
We're particularly interested in confident, enthusiastic PE specialists who can deliver engaging practical lessons, maintain high expectations for behaviour and encourage pupils to participate positively in physical education.
Whether you're an experienced PE Teacher looking for a change or an ECT keen to develop your classroom experience, we'd be interested in hearing from you.
WHAT OPPORTUNITIES ARE WE RECRUITING FOR?
We are building our candidate pool for future daily supply, short-term cover, regular weekly bookings and long-term PE teaching requirements across East Birmingham.
Depending on school requirements, assignments may involve:
- Delivering practical PE lessons across KS3 and KS4.
- Teaching a variety of sports, games and physical activities.
- Supporting girls' PE lessons and participation in physical education.
- Delivering GCSE PE theory and practical components where appropriate.
- Maintaining safe and organised practical learning environments.
- Supporting extracurricular sport and school activities where required.
Longer-term positions may involve planning, marking, assessment and contributing to the wider PE department.
These are prospective opportunities rather than a confirmed vacancy at a specific school.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
You will need QTS or QTLS, strong Physical Education subject knowledge and experience delivering PE within a secondary school environment.
Effective behaviour management is particularly important. We're looking for teachers who can establish clear expectations, maintain positive routines and confidently manage groups of pupils in sports halls, outdoor spaces and other practical settings.
You should be able to adapt activities for pupils of different abilities, promote inclusion and maintain appropriate health and safety standards.
Experience delivering girls' PE and GCSE PE would be particularly valuable.
We welcome applications from experienced PE Teachers and Early Career Teachers.
WHY REGISTER WITH ASPIRE PEOPLE?
We work with secondary schools throughout Birmingham and Solihull and can discuss suitable teaching opportunities as requirements arise.
Registering your interest allows us to consider you for assignments based on your availability, preferred locations and specialist experience.
Whether you're interested in occasional supply days, regular weekly bookings or a longer-term teaching position, we'd like to understand what you're looking for.
If you're a qualified PE Teacher interested in future opportunities across East Birmingham, apply today or contact Josh at Aspire People to discuss your experience and availability.
