PE Teacher | Boys' PE | East Birmingham
Secondary PE Supply & Future Teaching Opportunities | Flexible & Long-Term Work
Are you a qualified PE Teacher with experience delivering boys' Physical Education and strong behaviour management skills?
Aspire People is expanding its network of specialist Physical Education Teachers across East Birmingham, particularly around Small Heath, Bordesley Green, Sparkhill, Yardley and surrounding areas.
We're keen to connect with confident, enthusiastic PE specialists who can establish clear expectations, manage challenging classroom environments and deliver engaging practical lessons.
Whether you're an experienced PE Teacher looking for a fresh opportunity or an ECT keen to develop your teaching experience, we'd like to hear from you.
WHAT OPPORTUNITIES ARE WE RECRUITING FOR?
We are building our candidate pool for future daily supply, short-term cover, regular weekly bookings and long-term PE teaching requirements across East Birmingham.
Depending on school requirements, assignments may involve:
- Delivering boys' PE lessons across KS3 and KS4.
- Teaching a range of sports, games and physical activities.
- Managing pupil behaviour in sports halls, outdoor facilities and practical settings.
- Supporting GCSE PE theory and practical components where appropriate.
- Promoting teamwork, participation, discipline and positive attitudes towards physical activity.
- Supporting extracurricular sport and school activities where required.
Longer-term positions may involve lesson planning, assessment, marking and contributing to the wider PE department.
These are prospective opportunities rather than a confirmed vacancy at a specific school.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
You will need QTS or QTLS, strong Physical Education subject knowledge and experience teaching secondary-aged pupils.
Behaviour management is a key priority. We are particularly interested in teachers who can confidently establish boundaries, manage challenging behaviour and maintain a positive, structured learning environment.
Experience delivering boys' PE would be valuable, particularly in busy secondary school settings.
You should be adaptable, reliable and confident delivering practical activities safely while maintaining high expectations for pupil engagement.
We welcome applications from experienced PE Teachers and Early Career Teachers.
