Job Title: Car Sales Executive

Location: Birmingham

Basic Salary: £18,000

OTE: £45,000 – £50,000 - Uncapped

Hours: Monday to Friday 8:30am – 6:00pm (one day off every other week), Saturday 8:30am – 5:00pm. No Sundays.

Hawkfield Recruitment is working with an established, family-owned automotive group in Birmingham that is looking to recruit an experienced Car Sales Executive for one of its Main Dealerships.

Due to continued business growth, the dealership is expanding its sales team, creating an exciting opportunity to join a rapidly growing automotive brand specialising in electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles.

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual who is passionate about cars, enjoys building relationships with customers and has a proven track record in automotive sales.

• Selling new vehicles and guiding customers through the full sales process.
• Building strong relationships with new and existing customers.
• Managing enquiries, arranging test drives and following up sales opportunities.
• Discussing vehicle finance options and additional products.
• Working towards individual and dealership sales targets.
• Delivering excellent customer service throughout the buying journey.
• Keeping up to date with the latest vehicle models, technology and offers.
• Supporting dealership social media activity, including appearing in vehicle videos and promotional content.
• Completing all relevant sales paperwork and administration accurately.

• Previous experience as a Car Sales Executive within the motor trade.
• A proven ability to achieve sales targets.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• A confident, professional and enthusiastic approach.
• Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills.
• Comfortable appearing on camera and supporting dealership social media content.
• A full UK driving licence.

Experience with electric or hybrid vehicles, Motability and F&I products would be advantageous, although full product training will be provided.

• £18,000 basic salary with an OTE of £45,000 – £50,000.
