An established independent accountancy firm is recruiting a Private Client Tax Senior Manager to lead complex advisory assignments and oversee a portfolio of high-value private clients.

Our client is a progressive independent accountancy and advisory firm with an established presence in Birmingham. It advises business owners, entrepreneurs, wealthy individuals, families and trusts on increasingly complex personal tax matters.
Continued investment in its Private Client team has created an opportunity for an experienced tax professional to take greater ownership of advisory delivery, develop key client relationships and influence the future direction of the service line.
Description
- Lead complex Private Client Tax advisory projects from planning through to delivery.
- Prepare and review technical reports covering areas such as inheritance tax, capital gains tax, trusts, estates, residency, domicile and succession planning.
- Manage a portfolio of high-value and primarily advisory-led private clients.
- Provide clear, commercially focused recommendations to clients and professional advisers.
- Oversee the quality and timely delivery of associated personal tax compliance work.
- Act as a senior technical resource for colleagues across the firm.
- Work closely with the Private Client Tax Partner on strategic client matters.
- Identify opportunities to expand relationships and introduce additional services.
- Support the development and commercial growth of the Private Client offering.
Profile
- CTA, ACA or ACCA qualified, or qualified by experience.
- Significant Private Client Tax experience gained within an accountancy or tax advisory practice.
- Strong technical knowledge across a broad range of personal tax matters.
- Proven experience leading complex advisory assignments and reviewing technical reports.
- Commercially aware, with the ability to identify and develop new opportunities.
- Experience managing, mentoring and technically developing team members.
Job Offer
- Annual salary ranging from: 70,000 - 80,000 (DOE)
