Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer

Minworth, Birmingham | Up to £52,000 | Permanent

We’re looking for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a growing, highly automated manufacturing operation that has recently moved from NPI into high-volume production.

This is a fast-paced environment with automated machinery, injection moulding equipment, conveyors and materials handling systems.

The Role

You’ll be hands-on, keeping production running through preventative maintenance, breakdown support and continuous improvement.

You’ll work across:

• Electrical and mechanical fault-finding
• Planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and breakdown repairs
• PLC-controlled machinery and automated equipment
• Injection moulding, conveyors, motors and drives
• Root-cause analysis and reducing downtime
• Improving machine reliability, efficiency and performance

About You

We’re looking for an experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer with strong electrical and mechanical skills, ideally from an FMCG or highly automated manufacturing environment.

You’ll need experience with automated production equipment, fault-finding and preventative maintenance, alongside a relevant engineering qualification or equivalent practical experience.
