We, Academics, are looking for a suitable candidate to support as a Supply Teacher for one of our well respected schools in the Yardley Woods, B13 area. This Teaching opportunity starts in January 2027 and is a, 5 days a week, long-term role that will have the possibility to last up until July 2027 for the right candidate.

Key responsibilities of a Year 1 Teacher include:

• Provide and encourage a safe and inclusive environment for pupils
• Plan and deliver quality lessons relevant to the national curriculum
• Ensure that teaching and lesson plans are adaptable for children with SEND
• Work in collaboration with a range of individuals, including colleagues and parents, to ensure the best outcomes for pupils
• To monitor and assess pupils development

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• A great and relevant understanding of the Key Stage 1 curriculum
• Enhanced DBS (must be on the update service)
• Willingness to complete relevant training continually when needed
