AI Product Manager

6-Month Fixed Term Contract (opportunity for extension or permanent)

Hybrid Working – 1-2 days on-site per week

£65,000-£100,000

We're working with a leading organisation looking for an experienced AI Product Manager to help shape and define a new enterprise-wide AI capability.

This is an opportunity to play a central role in establishing how AI can deliver meaningful commercial value across a complex organisation, from identifying high-impact use cases through to developing the product strategy, roadmap and investment case.

Working closely with Enterprise AI Solution Architects and Engineering, Data and Cyber Security teams, you'll combine strong product management experience with the technical understanding needed to make informed decisions around AI capabilities, integrations and enterprise platforms.

The Role

  • Lead product discovery, identifying and prioritising valuable AI use cases across the business.
  • Define business outcomes, product requirements, success measures and acceptance criteria.
  • Develop the enterprise AI product vision, strategy and roadmap.
  • Assess build, buy and partner options, considering commercial value, feasibility and technical dependencies.
  • Work closely with technical teams to understand data, APIs, integrations and platform requirements.
  • Define proof-of-concept objectives and measurable success criteria.
  • Establish appropriate governance, ownership and risk requirements.
  • Build evidence-based business cases to support investment decisions.

What We're Looking For

  • Experience managing enterprise platforms, data products, integration solutions or AI-enabled products.
  • Strong product discovery, stakeholder engagement and roadmap development experience.
  • Proven ability to assess commercial opportunities and build compelling business cases.
  • Good working knowledge of generative AI, LLMs, AI assistants and agent-based systems.
  • Confidence collaborating with architects, engineers and technical stakeholders.
  • Experience evaluating technical options and translating complex requirements into commercial decisions.

Why Consider This Opportunity?

You'll have the opportunity to influence an enterprise AI strategy from its early stages, helping determine which capabilities should be developed, how they should be delivered and where investment will generate the greatest value.

This is an initial six-month fixed term contract, with potential for extension or a permanent opportunity.
