Project Manager Manager – Business Transformation & Integration
£60,000–£65,000 | West Midlands | Hybrid Working
An opportunity to play a central role in delivering strategic change within a growing legal services organisation.
We are recruiting an experienced Project Manager to join a progressive legal services organisation undergoing a significant period of growth, business transformation and operational development.
Working closely with senior leadership, you will help oversee a diverse portfolio of strategic initiatives, bringing clarity, structure and momentum to complex, cross-functional projects.
This is a business-focused PM role, spanning organisational change, integration, operational improvement and strategic transformation. It is not a technical IT project management position.
In this varied and busy role you will:
- Develop and maintain an integrated portfolio roadmap across multiple business transformation, integration and strategic initiatives.
- Support the planning and delivery of business integrations, coordinating activities across Finance, HR, Legal Operations, Risk, Compliance, IT and Business Development.
- Manage project governance, RAID logs, critical paths, dependencies, milestones and escalation processes.
- Produce clear, decision-focused reporting for senior leadership and the Board.
- Identify risks, resource constraints and competing priorities, working proactively with stakeholders to resolve issues.
- Support business readiness, implementation planning, operational transition and benefits realisation.
- Help develop effective PMO processes, tools and reporting frameworks that support continued organisational growth.
- Drive accountability and delivery across multiple workstreams, ensuring projects remain aligned with wider business objectives.
Applicants must have delivered business transformation and complex change within legal or professional services environments. You will have:
- Strong Project management/PMO experience, with responsibility for multiple concurrent initiatives.
- Experience within a law firm or professional services organisation, with an understanding of complex corporate structures and stakeholder relationships.
- Exposure to business integration, mergers and acquisitions, organisational change or operating-model transformation.
- Strong portfolio planning, governance, risk management and executive reporting capabilities.
- Experience delivering change across multiple business functions rather than exclusively within IT.
- The confidence to work with senior stakeholders, challenge constructively and influence decisions.
- A commercially aware, pragmatic and collaborative approach to project delivery.
