Description

Head Of Transactional Finance will;

• Oversee daily transactional finance activities to maintain accurate and timely financial records.
• Set clear priorities for the transactional finance function and keep work moving to agreed deadlines.
• Review financial data and resolve issues that may affect the quality or timing of reporting.
• Work closely with the wider Accounting & Finance department to support consistent financial processes.
• Monitor key finance activities and provide clear updates on progress, issues and next steps.
• Improve the flow of transactional finance work by identifying practical process improvements.
• Ensure financial information is organised and ready for internal reporting requirements.
• Provide direction on operational finance matters to help the business make informed decisions.

Profile

A successful 'Head Of Transactional Finance' should have:

• Strong experience leading transactional finance activities within an accounting and finance setting.
• The ability to review financial information carefully and identify issues promptly.
• Experience managing competing finance priorities while maintaining accurate outputs.
• A clear understanding of transactional finance processes and reporting needs.
• Confidence in improving day-to-day finance processes and ways of working.
• The ability to communicate financial updates clearly to colleagues across the business.

Job Offer

• Temporary contract in Birmingham.
• Daily rate of £400 to £470, dependent on the level of experience.
• Hybrid working
• Potential to go permanent
