Graduate Recruitment & Marketing Assistant - #2166623

HRG is an ambitious start-up recruitment business specialising in Digital & Growth, and we’re looking for our first graduate hire to join us as we build the business.

Based from modern offices in Birmingham, we have big plans and want to find someone bright, ambitious and commercially minded who is excited by the idea of joining a small business early in its journey.

You’ll work directly with the Managing Director and get involved across recruitment, marketing and business development from the outset.

One day you might be using LinkedIn to find a brilliant candidate, helping shortlist people for a live vacancy or researching businesses we want to work with. The next you could be creating content using AI, working on an email marketing campaign or following up a potential new client.

We don’t expect you to arrive knowing how to do all of this. We’re looking for someone intelligent, curious and organised who communicates well, enjoys learning and has a genuine interest in business, technology and AI.

Commercial instinct is important too. As you develop, we want you to start spotting opportunities yourself, such as a great candidate we should be representing, an interesting business we should be talking to or a potential client worth pursuing.

There are also two natural directions the role could take.

You might love recruitment and develop towards becoming a Recruitment Consultant, eventually managing your own vacancies and clients. Alternatively, your strengths might lie in marketing, content, AI and lead generation, with the opportunity to take increasing ownership of how we market and grow HRG.
