Commercial Finance Lead - #2166603

SF Partners are delighted to be recruiting a Commercial Finance Lead on behalf of a rapidly growing business based in Birmingham. This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially focused finance professional to help shape the next phase of growth.

With established systems and a high level of automation already in place, the business is looking for someone who can bring a forward-thinking approach to finance. Working closely with senior leadership, you will turn financial data into meaningful insight, identify opportunities, and provide the challenge and recommendations needed to support profitable growth.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead budgeting, forecasting and longer-term financial planning.
- Provide clear commercial insight into business performance, highlighting trends, opportunities and risks.
- Develop financial models and scenario analysis to support investment and growth decisions.
- Partner with stakeholders across the business to improve profitability and support decision-making.
- Develop reporting and KPIs that help leadership anticipate performance and take action.
- Assess revenue, margins and costs, recommending practical improvements.
- Forecast cash flow and funding requirements to support continued expansion.

About You
- ACA, ACCA or CIMA Qualified
- A strong background in commercial finance, FP&A or finance business partnering.
- Confident translating financial analysis into clear, actionable recommendations.
- Strong forecasting and financial modelling skills.
- Comfortable challenging assumptions and influencing senior stakeholders.
- Proactive, commercially curious and able to work effectively in a fast-moving business.
