Accounts Payable Specialist (P2P) - #2165311

Our client, a rapidly growing organisation supporting major UK public sector bodies, is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable / P2P Team Leader to oversee a busy operational hub and drive performance across the group's services.

The Role

• Lead, coach and develop an operational team delivering supplier onboarding, query handling and daily programme activity.
• Ensure SLAs, quality standards and customer service levels are consistently achieved.
• Act as an AP/P2P expert, supporting clients and improving payment processes.
• Analyse invoice and payment data to identify missed opportunities and increase rebate yield.
• Produce performance reports and support Client Success teams in driving programme improvements.
• Streamline workflows and embed continuous improvement.

What You’ll Bring

• 5+ years’ P2P experience with proven team leadership.
• Strong analytical skills and confidence working to KPIs.
• Solid understanding of AP controls, compliance and operational risk.
• Experience improving processes or systems.
• Excellent communication, organisation and stakeholder management.
