Having built a strong foundation, the company is now experiencing sustained, rapid growth, creating an exciting opportunity for a Management Accountant to join and have a large part to play in the next stage of its development. You’ll take responsibility for key management accounting activities, including monthly accounts, site-level P&L reporting, balance sheet reconciliations and variance analysis. Budgeting and forecasting will also feature heavily, alongside investigating revenue and cost movements and producing clear commentary on financial performance. The role offers a solid technical grounding, but what makes it particularly interesting is the opportunity to work closely with operational teams and understand develop a commercial understanding of what drives growth.

Business partnering in this role is critical. You’ll engage with stakeholders across the operation, discuss performance against budget, challenge variances and help colleagues understand the financial implications of their decisions. As the business continues to scale, you’ll have the opportunity to build strong relationships, improve the quality of financial insight available to decision-makers and contribute to a business that is actively carving out its place in a developing industry.

Skills Needed

• Experience preparing management accounts, including P&L reporting, balance sheet reconciliations and variance analysis.
• Part-qualified or finalist ACCA/CIMA accountant, with a view to qualify.
• Strong experience preparing, or assisting in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
• A confident, commercially minded communicator who enjoys working with operational stakeholders and influencing decisions.
