Business Management Consultant (Entry Level) - #2164708
Client Network
CNG is expanding, and we’re looking for people who want to develop into capable managers as the business grows.
With planned offices in Leeds and London and a Europe launch scheduled for 2028, we’re investing in the people who could help lead that next stage. This entry-level opportunity gives you practical business experience, direct coaching and clear expectations as you work towards broader responsibility.
You’ll start by learning how our campaigns, customer relationships and daily operations work. From there, you’ll build the judgement and leadership skills needed to support colleagues, understand results and contribute to business decisions.
Start with practical responsibility
Your development will cover client relationships, business development, operations and team leadership. Working alongside experienced managers, you will:
- Support campaign delivery and customer engagement to understand the business first-hand.
- Help coordinate daily tasks, priorities and agreed follow-ups.
- Maintain accurate information for client updates and account discussions.
- Review performance figures and help explain changes in activity and results.
- Identify recurring issues and suggest practical improvements.
- Support team briefings and colleagues’ development as you demonstrate readiness.
You’ll learn how these responsibilities connect. Accurate records help managers make decisions, clear briefings help teams deliver, and reliable follow-through builds client confidence.
As your experience develops, you may contribute more widely to operational planning and growth activity, with guidance from managers responsible for those decisions.
Support to develop your management skills
- Salary and incentives: A base salary with additional performance rewards linked to your results.
- Direct mentorship: Regular one-to-one coaching, constructive feedback and clear development targets.
- A route towards management: Opportunities to take on wider responsibility as you demonstrate consistent performance, leadership capability and readiness.
- Exposure to business expansion: Learn how CNG prepares for new markets, with potential involvement in UK growth as suitable opportunities arise.
Progression will reflect what you can reliably deliver and how effectively you support others, alongside the needs of the business.
Show us how you approach a challenge
We welcome graduates from any discipline, career changers and people with leadership or team experience from work, sport or volunteering.
You should be comfortable communicating with clients and colleagues, organising competing priorities and explaining your thinking. We’re particularly interested in people who take initiative, stay composed when plans change and apply feedback.
Previous management experience isn’t essential. Bring examples of when you took responsibility, helped a team achieve something or found a better way to complete a task.
Our Birmingham City Centre office provides a base with convenient transport links across the West Midlands.
