Purchasing Administrator - #2164644

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Purchasing Administrator to join our client's procurement team.

The successful candidate will support the purchasing of materials, components, goods and services required for our client’s operations. This role involves close collaboration with suppliers, internal departments and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery and effective purchasing.

Duties

• Support the purchasing process, including sourcing, ordering and expediting materials and components
• Raise and manage purchase orders using Sage and the company’s MRP purchasing system
• Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, suppliers and delivery schedules
• Liaise with suppliers regarding availability, lead times, pricing and deliveries
• Monitor component availability and assist with managing procurement difficulties and delays
• Coordinate with logistics and internal departments to ensure timely delivery
• Use Sage and other office software to maintain accurate purchasing information
• Provide general administration support where required

Previous purchasing experience would be advantageous but is not essential. Strong Sage experience, good IT skills and the ability to learn new systems quickly are key requirements.

Working hours: Monday to Friday 9:30am - 3pm
