Head of Regulatory | Birmingham | National Law Firm | Partner Level
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an established Regulatory Partner to take the lead on the development and growth of a regulatory practice in Birmingham for a national law firm.
This is a strategic appointment for a well-connected lawyer with a strong client following and established contacts across the market. The firm is looking for someone who can bring both the relationships and commercial drive needed to develop the practice, build on existing opportunities and establish a strong platform for future growth.
The Opportunity
You will take a leading role in shaping the direction of the regulatory offering, developing client relationships and identifying new opportunities to grow the practice. Working alongside colleagues across the wider firm, you will have the opportunity to raise the team's profile, strengthen its market position and contribute to the firm's broader strategic ambitions.

Develop new business opportunities and build on an established network of client and professional contacts.
Strengthen existing client relationships and identify opportunities to expand the firm's offering.

Build the profile of the team within the Birmingham market and across the firm's national network.
Play an active role in the development of the wider practice, including future recruitment and team growth.
The Candidate
Applications are invited from established Regulatory Partners or senior regulatory lawyers with a strong track record of business development and the ambition to lead a growing practice.
You will have:
A strong background in regulatory law and the ability to advise on complex matters.
An established client following and demonstrable contacts within the market — both are essential.
A proven ability to generate work and develop long-term client relationships.
The commercial acumen and strategic vision to grow a practice.
The credibility and leadership skills to develop a team and work effectively at partnership level.
The Opportunity
This is an opportunity to take ownership of a regulatory offering within a national law firm, with the scope to influence strategy, develop the client base and build a practice around your own commercial ambitions.
For an established regulatory lawyer with the right contacts, following and appetite for growth, this could be a compelling next move.
