The successful candidate will be a confident, commercially astute litigator who can act as a safe pair of hands while supporting the continued growth of the department.

The caseload is broad and varied, covering all aspects of commercial litigation, including:

  • Contractual disputes (including breach of contract and enforcement matters)

  • Director and boardroom disputes
  • Debt recovery and enforcement action
  • Bankruptcy and corporate insolvency matters
  • Professional negligence claims

  • Injunctive relief applications
  • Contentious matters arising from supply chain, logistics and distribution arrangements
  • Disputes within regulated sectors

Clients operate across a wide range of industries, including manufacturing, retail, hospitality, care homes, logistics, warehousing and distribution. Many relationships are longstanding and advisory-focused, offering the opportunity to work closely with business owners, directors and senior stakeholders.

This is a modern, forward-thinking firm with beautiful offices in the heart of Birmingham city centre and a strong hybrid working culture.

As an ambitious and growing practice, there are clear and realistic progression opportunities for the right individual. In addition to a competitive salary, the firm offers the opportunity to participate in growth shares, providing a genuine stake in the future success of the business.

The Candidate

You will:

  • Have a minimum of 2 years' PQE
  • Be technically strong with sound procedural knowledge
  • Be confident managing matters independently
