Your new school
Hays Education is working in partnership with a wide range of primary schools across Birmingham and Sandwell that are seeking experienced KS2 Teachers, with a particular need for Year 6 specialists. We work with schools ranging from one-form entry primaries to large multi-form entry settings, supporting them with both planned and emergency cover throughout the academic year.

Your new role
As a KS2 Supply Teacher, you will deliver engaging lessons across Key Stage 2, with opportunities to teach within Year 6 classes. You will be responsible for maintaining high standards of teaching and learning, effectively managing classroom behaviour, and ensuring pupils remain motivated and on track with their learning.

Whether you are looking for flexible day-to-day supply, short-term bookings, or long-term assignments, we have opportunities to suit your availability and preferences. Year 6 experience, including SATs preparation and supporting pupils working towards expected and greater depth standards, would be highly advantageous.

What you'll need to succeed

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Recent experience teaching within Key Stage 2
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• Sound knowledge of the primary curriculum
• Experience teaching Year 6 is desirable
• Flexibility, reliability and a positive approach to teaching
