PA to Partners (Temporary) - Birmingham City Centre, Hybrid, Full-time
We are currently working in partnership with a modern, progressive law firm based in Birmingham City Centre, who are looking for an experienced Legal PA to join their busy Property team on a temporary basis.
The Role
As Legal PA, you will provide high-quality administrative and client support to the team, helping to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the department.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing proactive support to the team and assisting with the day-to-day care of clients and contacts.
- Handling basic client queries and managing client-related telephone calls and messages.
- Producing, formatting and checking documents for accuracy.
- Managing diaries and coordinating meetings, interviews and client training sessions.
- Arranging meeting rooms, preparing agendas and papers, and coordinating associated travel and accommodation.
- Opening and closing files and ensuring records are maintained accurately.
- Monitoring key client dates and ensuring compliance procedures are kept up to date.
- Assisting with the organisation and coordination of internal and external events.
- Producing and maintaining Excel spreadsheets and other departmental records.
- Liaising with internal teams and collating information as required.
- Arranging photocopying, printing, couriers and the distribution of correspondence.
- Receiving and processing instructions through digital dictation.
- Providing support with billing and invoices for files within the team.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Strong previous PA or legal secretarial experience, ideally within a law firm or professional services environment.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Word, Outlook and Excel.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A professional and client-focused approach.
- Previous experience within property or real estate would be advantageous, but is not essential.
